9.50 Build 9613 Beta (Oct 30, 2007)
I've been waiting for a long time to synchronize my bookmarks on my phone and PC!
By the way, Opera does not just suddenly lose your bookmarks so if they are missing you probably did something wrong.
Oh, and Opera can't support Roboform, it's up to Roboform to support Opera. It's not like Opera can rewrite Roboform to support it!
9.00 Build 8501 (Jun 24, 2006)
I don't understand how beachgirl can give it such a low rating. Most useful Firefox extensions are already build in Opera after all, and if not, most can easily be done in Opera i some way:

http://virtuelvis.com/ar...d-firefox-extensions-ii
For example, you don't need a Firefox extension to check your mail accounts! ColorZilla is implemented as a widget in Opera. And so on and so forth.
Also, Opera does not have problems with JS heavy sites. The problem is that certain sites SPECIFICALLY BLOCK OPERA.
9.01 Build 8505 Beta (Jun 24, 2006)
EDIT: Firefox trolls like Velocition and bayernmunich44 above who come here just to give Opera a low rating with no real explanation is exactly why I dropped Firefox a while ago :(
"Opera doesn't have nightlies"?! And that is a good reason for a low rating?! It does have weeklies, but whatever.
My original review:
Nice, this fixes a couple of annoyances! :)
bunghole: Opera DOES have privacy option: Tools -> Delete private data. It's had that for AGES. As for your widgets comment, Opera is more easily customized than most other browser, including Firefox. Applying skins on the fly, etc., while Firefox requires a restart. Opera is a lot better at these things for non-geeks.
And Vimes: You are giving Opera a low rating because sites block Opera?! I don't get it. You blame Opera for being discriminated against?!
9.01 Build 8505 Beta (Sep 5, 2008 - 2:08 AM)
Do you really find that surprising, considering the fact that Google uses its front page to promote Chrome? Google can use its dominance in different markets to push its browser, just like Microsoft did.
Firefix is better than Safari, but oh well. Keep on trolling.

How so? Opera is profitable, has lots of cash, and had a revenue increase of more than 50% in the last quarter.
The company is financially healthy with major growth in all business areas. How is that "desperate"?

If the standards don't offer the functionality you are looking for, improve the standards. That's what Mozilla, Opera and others are doing. That's what Microsoft is PRETENDING to be doing as well.
Yes, standard means right. That's why it's called a standard.
And Microsoft has a special obligation to follow standards and not be anti-competitive due to its dominant position. It has failed.

That's great. You don't need MSIE. Other people do, because lots of sites, especially banks, still require you to use it. And that's a situation which cannot be accepted.
From a FAQ posted on this:
"Q: How does forcing Microsoft to adhere to standards promote choice in browsers?
A: While it is easy, at least for tech-savvy people, to install a different browser, many sites still require you to use MSIE due to their use of proprietary MS technologies supported only by IE, or hacks designed to fix IE's broken standards support, which can themselves break in other browsers. For there to be actual choice, Web users must be able to choose another browser and use it on any site they wish."

Actually, it's too bad for the web since this costs both other browser vendors AND web developers a lot of money.
