  1. Review - Mozilla Thunderbird for Mac OS X

    3.0 RC1 (Nov 24, 2009)

    Better than Mail.app

  2. Review - Yahoo! Messenger for Windows

    6.0.0.1922 (Feb 28, 2005)

Nicely looking, but bloated. Requires the Internet Explorer is the default browser for the avatar functionality. Also the Yahoo! Messenger for the other platforms (Mac, Linux) is not kept up-to-date and is more than a year old.

  3. Review - FilterGate

    5.22 Beta 6 (Jul 2, 2004)

Quite good program, I would say. It DOES WORK with Netscape and Mozilla browsers.
There are tiny thingies which, I think, cost a star in total though:
    - popup blocking blocks opening new browser windows by the user or (Mozilla) save file panels from time to time
    - from time to time it "swallows" browser navigation action (clicking on a link)
    - no custom filters, one has to rubmit a site to Filtergate, if it is to be blocked

  4. Review - WinSCP

    3.6 Beta (May 11, 2004)

    Well done Martin!

  5. Review - Microsoft Messenger for Mac

    4.0 (May 6, 2004)

Pathetic! No webcam/audio support, just new emoticons and support for MSN always changing protocol. Shall we wait until version 6?

  6. Comment - Apple Introduces iTunes for Windows

    4.0 (Oct 18, 2003 - 1:57 AM)

Thanks for removing the noisy comments. But I don't see quite much sense in the existence of comments, like mine above which are basically a reaction to the noisy guy comments and now they are hanging and answering nobody. It will be OK by me if they are deleted too.

  7. Comment - Apple Introduces iTunes for Windows

    4.0 (Oct 17, 2003 - 10:06 AM)

"You mean -don't you- their pitiable, teenie little
    2.9% market share ?"

I do. So let's follow your logic: you make noise that you hate Apple and they will die soon because of ~your~ opinion that they have "pitiable, teenie little 2.9% market share". And "blahblahblah*rat says blahblahblah*"

It's just your ratbrain opinion copy-pasted 100 times. It's noisy and doesn't contain ~any~ useful information.

I'll be glad to see some 99 times of it ~deleted~

  8. Comment - 'Panther' Set for October 24 Launch

    4.0 (Oct 15, 2003 - 8:39 AM)

    And Microsoft still cares.

  9. Comment - Microsoft Alters IE Due to Patent Ruling

    4.0 (Oct 10, 2003 - 8:03 AM)

Huh-huh-huh. Just imagine the browser asks you "Do you like to allow to display this Flash bannner from this site to you", as it should according to the proposed IE changes

  10. Comment - 'Panther' Set for October 24 Launch

    4.0 (Oct 10, 2003 - 7:58 AM)

Apparently Microsoft does. Otherwise ther woldn't be MS Office, MSN Messenger, IE, etc. for Mac would it?
