    phoenix for the PC is pretty much the same as safari on the Mac IMO.....

    although, i'm partial to safari :)

    i wish it had the ability to dock to the side of the screen - like ICQ, trillian, AIM - well... all of the rest. that's one feature that i really am hoping they implement soon.

    what the open source gift protocol has been doing for some time now? i know that on the mac and linux, we have a boatload of apps that access kazaa, gnutella, etc.

    people who take a good thing (online streaming of music to other computers) and make software that allows you to COPY the songs to your mac instead of simply listening to it.

    the original idea was that basically you could share your music with macs on your LAN or listen to mp3s at work streamed from your mac at home.

    but, like i said, you can always count on people to think that it's their "right" to take what isn't theirs.
