2.2.4.1 (Nov 16, 2009)
Same crap, different version, few minor changes to keep trying to make money off of this crapware. I wish there were a ZERO stars rating. Be sure to read all the reviews below. Again, same garbage with no real improvements. Still trying to make money by passing this off as freeware when it is not. WARNING: DO NOT INSTALL.
4.1.0.15 Beta (Oct 30, 2009)
Quite simply my messenger of choice since 2001. Quite simply, it is beautiful. The options for skinning and plugins alone make Digsby look like ICQ version 1. The folks who develop the software are reachable and work hard at making sure that the software works well. Plus, as a member, you get the wbe version which is invaluable to me.
This is a software worth downloading, and if you like the free version it is more than worth the money to with everything it has to offer.

Small, fast, simple, and works flawlessly. Oh, and did I mentions FREE? This is good software.
1.7.4 (Oct 5, 2009)
This is no longer "Open Source". The author is including a "Kicin" crapware bundle. It has been reported to Sourceforge.

I found the interface to be slow and clunky. The fact that you need to put a disc in every time you want to watch Netflix is also a bit of a hassle. However, comparing the video quality between my Roku HD-XR box and the PS3 streaming, the PS3 has the best video quality hands down. Also has noticeably better audio on my 60' LCD HDTV and my 1000 watt 7.1 surround system.
The audio and video quality make it worth putting in the disc for that special HD movie, but for convenience I am sticking with my Roku box. Roku also has more services and is getting MANY more in the near future.
When Sony includes Netflix streaming in the next software or firmware update, I will sideline the Roku box.

I agree, companies should not be trying to throttle or limit existing bandwidth, but should be turning profit into more profit by adding more bandwidth and more equipment to keep up with demand.

Bug them. They need to get a legal copy of Windows. Hate MS or not, it's theft, period, and no amount of rationalization makes it acceptable.

Yay. More fodder for the pedophile buffet.

WildTangent is complaining because it breaks their spyware. Anyone who knows even a little bit about computer security knows to remove any and all WildTangent garbage.
