Well, it's nice to see that Microsoft isn't the only group that can't get a release date right, lol... Here it is August 4th, and still no 7.2.

I am using Firefox now, and I am very happy with it. I keep Internet Explorer installed incase I run across a page that only works with it, becuase it is not too bad, though a bit slower and less featured then Firefox.

Yes, Forget about Netscape now. It's finished. Let's go for Firefox.

Ok, Netscape, why? Firefox is the answer! But it's not Netscape, it's what you need to be using. As for Opera, I won't pay for a browser and I don't want adware on my browser, it's bad enough that it infests most web pages. The only problems I encounter with Firefox are IE components used on sites, like some forum toolbars as an example. Other than that, I absolutely love using Firefox.

Mozilla 1.7 is good
I use Netscape mosst of the time and do like the browser.
I can't stand IE and have actually started to use the MYIE2 instead. But as with IE it is only used rarely.
I look forward to Netscape 7.2 finally being released.

Replace IE with Avant Browser and you dont have to use IE anymore...

Firefox + Thunderbird combination is the best but Opera comes close to second.

Avant Browser? That's just an IE shell. It uses the IE browser engine, and
is therefore just as vulnerable to all the security holes that are found in IE.

I have the following installed (so I can test out how they all work with a site/script):

Beonex, IE, K-Melon, Maxthon (use instead of IE usually), Mozilla, Firefox, Netscape, Opera.

I use:
IE (when I have to), Firefox (99.9% of the time) and also Thunderbird for my e-mail. Why even bother with Netscape when it's just another spin-off of Mozilla and it's not a very good one at that.

Opera is cool though, just not what I want in a browser.

Netscape (just like Firefox, Mozilla, Opera) works excellent in multilingual environment. I hope there will be also gtk Netscape 7.2 available for download.

Tried firefox and to be frank, it didn't cut the mustard. Still a buggy browser.

Now, Mozilla 1.8a2 on the other hand, is the shiznit (very good), IMO.

Oh btw, I have Netscape 7.1 installed and quite happily switch between it and Mozilla 1.8

I'll definitely download 7.2 when it comes out and I'd recommend some of you give it a try BEFORE you voice your profound opinions.

Netscape is a good browser even though it has some problems. only a few sites dont work(ActiveX) and i'll happily go between Mozilla, IE and this.
