Palm Pre: Rounding up (or down) the reviews
It's on, and most of the outlets we've seen so far compared Palm's new phone to -- what else? -- the iPhone. To summarize:
Pre beats iPhone: Associated Press, USA Today, TG Daily
IPhone beats Pre: Reuters, Gizmodo, BusinessWeek
Push: New York Times, Wall Street Journal , Wired, PhoneScoop, Engadget, PC World, Fortune
And in case you haven't got time even to parse that list: The OS is its glory, the battery life is its Achilles heel. And yes, two of the biggest Mac-huggers in the mainstream press couldn't truthfully hand the laurel to iPhone. Wow.
