Yahoo said Wednesday it had released a version of its Yahoo! Go service for Windows Mobile, expanding the reach of the company's mobile offerings. Previously, the service was only available for Nokia and Motorola phones.

Yahoo! Go includes mobile versions of several popular Yahoo services, including Mail, Search, Photos, Address Book and Calendar, and content services including Yahoo! News and Finance. Each service is customized for smaller screen and includes features such as alerts that allow them to be used efficiently in a mobile environment.

Shape Services' IM+ is the Trillian of mobile messengers. I even PAID for it. If only you knew just how much that means... And it works on SIS & Java phones!

BAD NEWS for those hoping to use Messenger on your Windows Mobile device: Messenger is "*Not included in Windows Mobile® editions of Yahoo! Go"

I uninstalled it as soon as I read that line. Why the discrimination?

Also, it doesn't allow installation to Storage Card. Without prompting, it installs itself into device memory. This really sucks!

I use Agile Messenger for Yahoo, and our corporate Jabber protocol server.

It'll come around I'm sure.

I just installed it and had to use the .cab file, the auto installer failed. I've never had problems installing app's on my pocket pc before so....may be a yahoo thing. .cab file installed fine.

Edit: I just logged into messenger with the mobile 2003 version of the application! It's pretty archaic though.
