Let's see... Google's Chrome, which is based on the same rendering engine blows this away in every possible way. It also has atrocious font rendering while Chrome is perfect. There is no reason for this software.
Along with iTunes for Windows, this shows you that Apple's software 'engineers' are lame.

This program lacks a key feature: it is unable to verify data after burning an .iso to disc. You can do this when burning a new data compilation to disc but not after burning an .iso to disc.
I really wanted to switch from Nero, which has this function, but lack of this feature precludes it.
I hope they include such basic functionality in future builds.

This is a terrible browser. Text rendering is unacceptable. Don't the Apple coders realize that Windows handles font smoothing natively. Wow, they can't even get something this simple and basic right.
Safari makes text appear as though written with a big smudgy magic marker.

Yes, nothing drastically new in the interface department. Many fixes and minor new features. This is well written software that is dependable and solid. And besides, is there really that much new with FTP?

I think the only 'improvement' or change from the previous version is the disabling the ability to sync custom ringtones to iPhones.
Transparent attempt to cripple software so that Apple can charge for ring tones. And they say MS is evil?

More like Department of Motherland Security.

Meh. It's only a few extra days. In that time I'll let the guinea pigs find all the problems.

Wow, it's unusual that someone in the 'communication business' (LOL) writes a deliberately inflammatory column and then is a troll in the comments to that article!
Congratulations Carmi, you're working both sides of the aisle. Are you in some sort of competition at Betanews to see which writer gets the most comments to his column? Your credibility (if you ever had any) is gone.

Your last two steps don't typically occur on OS X. We've been safe so far - though my in my opinion it's been more security through obscurity. If someone is hell-bent on developing malware for OS X then it will happen. But most malware writers are in it for the money and targeting MS will yield a 10x greater payoff. Oh, and your smug attitude will almost guarantee that you'll get infected in the future.

I thought Ubuntu Muslim Edition was also known as Linux Mint.
